Ladies and gentlemen start your engines!

Fine Tune
Be sure to carefully tune your car, this can lead to better performance and race results. Start your vehicle tweaking from the ground up, first with your tires. Adjusting tire pressure is important as it gives you better traction on the road, resulting in better control and braking.
Be careful not to over do it with your tires, or you could run into stability issues. Do a few laps, let your tires warm up, then make adjustments that feel right to you. It’s also essential to experiment with your vehicles’ damping, springs and ride height, each adjustment will help.
Manual Shifting
Starting off, Forza 7 defaults all racers to Automatic transmission, but as you continue in your racing career you should make the switch to Manual. The switch to Manual lets you get far better performance out of your car; allowing you to shift sooner, or later depending on your situation.
Forza 7 Porsche
In a unique situation that requires agility, you can quickly shift into a lower gear for an added boost of power. Automatic transmissions will not allow you to make on the fly decisions, Manual is the key to getting the best performance out of your car.
Practise Proper Braking Technique
Braking at the right point before a turn is absolutely essential to a podium finish. Do your best to brake before a big turn, keeping your wheels as straight as possible. Keeping your wheels straight will ensure the most surface area of your tires is gripping the road, providing a cleaner, more controlled way to slow your vehicle. Braking while turning is possible but you will lose a lot of control, hurting your lap times.
Turn Off The Brake Line
Brake line
The racing / brake line often provides a great reference point for beginners around the track, but it doesn’t always give the most efficient path. The brake line really plays it safe, pressuring you to break too early, costing you seconds off the clock. Turn off the brake line and start practicing on various tracks for a deeper understanding of each track that will help you shave seconds off your race times
Experience is Everything
Race often, and don’t be afraid to lose. The best on the grid took their losses, learned from them and continued to challenge the competition. Be sure to race a variety of cars and opponents to build a breadth of experience and auto racing knowledge.
