Call of Duty: WWII marks the return of boots-on-the-ground gameplay to the ever popular franchise. It’s been nine years since we had a game set during World War II and COD WWII is packed full of new multiplayer features. Check out these tips to get more kills in Call of Duty WWII.

In addition to the return to classic gameplay, COD WWII adds a new headquarters social space, divisions, and war mode. Without further ado, lets take a look at how you can get more kills in COD WWII.
The first tip that we are going to talk about involves making a change to the control settings. I highly recommend adjusting both the vertical and horizontal sensitivity. If they are too low, you’re going to have to move the analogue sticks a lot to aim at someone.
Conversely, if someone is behind you there is no way you will be able to turn around in time to have a chance to get the kill. You’ll have to try a few different sensitivity settings to get the one that is right for you.
The ideal setting will allow you to have the time to turn on someone. On the flipside, if your sensitivity is too high you will be able to turn around fast but your accuracy will be sacrificed. I generally play with the sensitivity somewhere right about the middle, it allows me to turn around quickly if someone is behind me and fire off a fairly accurate shot.
It’s important to know each map and use its design to your advantage. If it is a small close quarter map, use an SMG. If it’s a bigger map, use an assault rifle or a sniper riffle. For example, lets take a look at the multiplayer map Gustav Cannon. A lot of people dislike the map, and the primary reason is because so many people are running around with an SMG.
Gustav Cannon is not designed for SMGs. Light machine guns, assault rifles, or sniper riffles are a much better choice for this map. My personal favourite weapon for this map are sniper rifles.
First and foremost, stay away from the centre of the map. There are so many people who head for the centre of the map thinking that is where all the action will be. If you want to get some easy kills, stand off on the side and aim your weapon at the centre and watch how many easy kills you will get.
Do not head to the centre of the map! It’s a warzone with enemies on all sides and your chances of dying are increased substantially. Always stick towards the outsides of the map. Let the enemies come to you. If you are just rushing and running like a madman, you are going to die. Hang around one area of the map, sit back a little bit. Some people might call this camping, but it’s not. You’re moving around and strategizing.
Furthermore, keep an eye on the radar. Enemies who aren’t using SMGs will show up on the radar when they shoot their weapon. Suppressors are only available on SMGs and if they arent using that particular weapon, you’ll always have a good idea of where they are.
Stop sprinting everywhere! This is something that I was guilty of doing for quite a long time. However, I discovered that by the time you stop sprinting and actually aim your gun at someone, it wastes valuable time that you could be using to take down your opponent. If an enemy is already shooting at you, by the time you stop sprinting and aim, you are going to die. There is a time and place to use sprinting, but constantly moving around the map sprinting is a sure fire way of getting yourself killed.
Furthermore, I do not recommend sprint around corners either. It is one of the worst things you can do, because there will inevitably be enemies waiting for you and you will be a sitting duck.
Finally, once an enemy kills you, do not challenge them again. It is one of the most important tips that I can give you, and one that including myself am guilty every so often. When you respawn, do not go to where he or she is. They are expecting this and waiting to take you out again.

Your opponent is going to be head glitching, and holding off the map in anticipation. Do not get angry and do not seek revenge. If you keep chasing your opponent, they will just move to different corners of that area and keep killing you over and over and over again. Just let it go, and move on.
Let’s say you have an assault riffle and are firing at them long-range and miss. Run away! Chances are the enemy is going to kill you. Especially if they already have a few shots on you. Run away and regenerate your health. Don’t challenge them again, run around the map and go somewhere else.
