Injustice 2’s stages have many interactable objects in their environments, which you can use to your advantage. They range from flaming oil barrels to drones and yes, even a giant crocodile. Smaller, lighter characters can use objects to jump off of, while larger more powerful characters use these objects as weapons.

These typically one-time use moves allow you to interact with objects in a specific stage to deal damage to your opponent. To perform these interactions, you need to be in front of or near an object and press R1 or Triangle + Square on your PlayStation 4 controller.

I’ve put together a list of all the stages in Injustice 2, and some tips to help you use these environmental objects to your advantage—I hope you enjoy!

Arkham Asylum

Arkham Asylum is a psychiatric hospital and home to Gotham’s worst. It is located on the outskirts of Gotham City, and is where those of Batman’s foes considered to be legally insane are incarcerated.

Here are a few tips to help you use Arkham Asylum’s surrounding environment to your advantage against your opponents:

  • At the Front Gates there is a prison bus, which powerful characters can grab the door from and throw at your opponents. While, smaller characters can grab the bars on the back of the bus and throw them at their opponent.
  • At the Front Gates, smaller characters can use the tree to jump to the other side of this stage.
  • In the Cell Blocks there is a gurney, wheelchair, toilet and Two-Face’s cage that you can use to cause damage to your opponent.

Atlantis

Atlantis is the underwater continent ruled by Aquaman and isolated from the outside world. However, when Brainiac decided to invade, Aquaman was forced to fight back.

Here are a few tips to help you use Atlantis’ surrounding environment to your advantage against your opponents:

  •  In the Command Center, there are Atlantian Warrior Statues that powerful characters can grab for an unblockable attack, and slam onto their opponents. While, smaller characters can jump off the balls at the bottom of the statue to the other side of the stage.
  • In the Command Center, there are torches that you can grab and throw at your opponents to cause damage.
  • In the Trench Queen Nursery, there is a glass tank that you can smash a hole in to make water come out and knock down your opponent. Additionally, there is a Nursery Tank that you can hit your opponent into and pop them up into the air, allowing for combo opportunities.

The Batcave

The Batcave is the secret headquarters of Batman, located in Gotham Underground and was originally built by Bruce’s great-grandfather. He watches over both Gotham City and the world as a whole with his computer system found within. The Batcave is where Batman also stores all of his gadget and machinery, and some can even be found and used to hurt opponents when fighting here.

Here are a few tips to help you use The Batcave’s surrounding environment to your advantage against your opponents:

  • On the far right hand side of this stage there are three metal cases that you can pickup and throw at your opponent.
  • By standing in front of the Bat computer you can throw your opponent into one of the screens for an electrifying experience.

Brainiac’s Ship

This ship carries Brainiac and his army across the galaxy to conquer more planets, but it’s also a prison for any race that Brainiac desires to hold captive. On top of that, this ship has the power to both destroy and restore, but only by the power of Brainiac’s brain waves that control the entire fleet.

Here are a few tips to help you use Brainiac’s Ship’s surrounding environment to your advantage against your opponents:

  • On booth sides of this stage there are metal terminals that can be plucked up from the ground and tossed at your opponent. Note that these will start flashing once they hit your opponent and then explode.
  • After the transition there are crystal balls that can be thrown at your opponent, which will temporary entrap your opponent and free them once it escapes.

Fortress of Solitude

The Fortress of Solitude is Superman’s headquarters located in the Arctic. Its location is kept secret from all except for Superman’s closest friends and allies. Although Superman has living quarters at the Fortress, his main residence is still in Metropolis.

Here are a few tips to help you use the Fortress of Solitude’s surrounding environment to your advantage against your opponents:

  •  If you are quick enough, when you start a fight, you can throw your opponent into the faces of one of the statues in the background for damage
  • On the far right side of the screen there is a ray gun on a cart that you can use by hitting it to attack your opponent.

Gorilla City

Located in Africa, Gorilla City is home to Gorilla Grodd. With plans to take over the world, this is where he assembles his army of gorillas and his evil organization.

The Joker’s Playground

Ever since the death of its former owner, this sadistic carnival scene has become an abandoned, rather desolate place of no life whatsoever. This is the last remains of the Joker, a nightmarish landscape where he devised his devilish ideas.

Here are a few tips to help you use The Joker’s Playground’s surrounding environment to your advantage against your opponents:

  • By jumping near the carousel, you can grab the corpses hanging and throw them to explode on your opponents.
  •  Stand near the candy barrels and you can pick these exploding barrels up and throw them across the screen.

Kahndaq

Much like how Atlantis has separated itself from the rest of the world and society as a whole, the same can be said for the city of Kahndaq. This is a hidden city that was once home to Black Adam and has now become a refuge for all the members that were once apart of the Regime.

Here are a few tips to help you use Kahndaq’s surrounding environment to your advantage against your opponents:

  •  There are several hanging lanterns that are on fire which you can jump up and hit your opponent over the head with.

Metropolis

This was the place on earth that Superman called home, at least until his regime fell and he was placed in prison for his tyranny. Metropolis is buzzing with daily activity and is the only real city environment that can be played in.

Here are some tips to help you use Metropolis’ surrounding environment to your advantage against your opponents:

  • In the Memorial Station portion of this stage, there is a cement mixer on the far right of the stage that you can ram your opponent into.
  •  In the tavern portion of the Metropolis stage, you will find one drinker sitting with his back to the bar, facing the action. Get in close and you can throw him at your opponent, sending him flying off screen when he makes contact.

Red Sun Prison

This is the place where all of the earth’s worst offenders are held for their crimes against society. The latest inmate is none other than Superman himself, who is being punished for his actions.

Here are some tips to help you use Red Sun Prison’s surrounding environment to your advantage against your opponents:

  • There are computers on a cart, one on each side of the stage, which can be used to hit your opponents over their heads.
  •  After the stage transition, on the far right hand side of the screen there is a giant metal can that you can use to cause some serious damage to your opponent.
