During the WorldGaming Canadian Championship Series featuring Gran Turismo Sport, presented by PlayStation and PFAFF, Canada’s top drivers will be racing for $25,000 cash, exclusive automotive prizing, and the Canadian Championship title. Competitors will be playing Gran Turismo Sport across two qualifying stages to reach the live PFAFF GT Sport Championships at Cineplex Colossus Cinemas Vaughan.
All prize values listed are in Canadian dollars (CAD). Finalists receive travel to and accommodation in Toronto, Ontario for the event.
Stage One: Online Qualifier Time Trials
Drivers will race on one of the four designated tracks using Gran Turismo Sport’s Lap Attack mode (found within Campaign Mode / Circuit Experience), and will submit their best lap times. All time submissions must be accompanied by a link to a video clip that captures the full lap and shows the Replay Details (after saving a Replay in Lap Attack, the Replay Details can be viewed through My Library). For an example of a valid video, click here. For information on recording and uploading a video clip using the PS4’s SHARE feature, click here. The 10 fastest Drivers from each of the four pre-selected tracks will qualify for the Race of Champions Qualifier (Stage Two).

Stage Three: PFAFF GT Sport Championships
The live PFAFF GT Sport Championships will be hosted at Cineplex Colossus Cinemas in Vaughan, and livestreamed globally on www.twitch.tv/worldgaming – featuring the Top 16 Drivers from the Race of Champions Qualifier stage. Only one driver can walk away as the ultimate champion!
Drivers will be assigned to one of two semifinal Heats, based on the Race of Champions Qualifier results. Each Heat will race on multiple tracks, with points assigned to Drivers based on the final results of each individual race. The top four Drivers from each Heat, based on their total points, will qualify for the Championship series (eight in total). Those eight Drivers will again race on multiple tracks, earning points based on the results, to determine the final standings of the GT Sport Canadian Championships presented by PFAFF Motors and PS4.
